Barbara’s recognition as the Top Producer year over year at Rick Obey Yacht Sales nationwide since 2014, is a testament to her tenacious work ethic, her commitment to achieving the best outcome on behalf of her clients, her effective marketing campaigns and her laser-focused vision to find the right boat and negotiate a great deal.

Born and raised in Southern California, Barbara has had a love affair with all things related to water her whole life. An avid boater from the age of 8, Barbara’s love for all things associated with water has fueled her passion for boating, surfing, water and snow skiing

Barbara was the first female Executive General Manager hired by a Fortune 500 Automotive Company generating sales of over $200M annually while managing over 200 associates. After a Twenty plus year career in the automotive industry, transitioning to the yachting industry has allowed her the opportunity to perfectly blend her passion for boating with her extensive experience in sales, client relations, customer service, negotiating, marketing, finance and strategic planning. Barbara has been directly involved in thousands of sales transactions.

Her incredible talent at negotiating a deal is rivaled only by her intuition of what matters most to her clients. She understands that buying a boat is not just about buying a boat it’s about investing in a lifestyle.

Barbara enjoys traveling and spending time on her boat with her family and friends.
